I do have an argument though about how women are being portrayed in the media. Notice in the above video, towards the end, at about 2:00 minutes into the video, posts some interesting facts and findings. Now, I know most of you might not be too keen or fond on statistical findings , but let me help stimulate and build your cognitive need. Here in this video above, (2007) reports some interesting facts in this video about women, specifically American women. One out of six American women become victims of sexually assualt. What's even mind boggling is that some of these rape victims are not even legally adults yet. We're talking about minors here. Almost half of the rape victims are under the age of 18, that's about 44% of underage victims. This struck me hard when (2007) reported that 80% of the rape victims were still infants and toddlers, under the age of 3 years old! Then the video proceeds to flashing many images of exploited women in ads, at a rapid pace, with this very intense and direct rhetorical question appearing "Are you buying it?". There is definitely no pun intended in this question.
